BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:15 P.M.) – Photo evidence has merged showing one of the many dozens of modern main battle tanks delivered to the Syrian Arab Army by Russia in recent months.
According to military affiliated sources, the Russian military has delivered no less than forty (40) T-90A main battle tanks – the equivalent of an armored battalion – to the Syrian Arab Army since the beginning of October this year.
The latest generation tanks were delivered to Syria via Russian cargo ships traversing the Bosphorus and arriving at the port city of Latakia.
After reaching Syria, the T-90s were placed in storage until being assigned to a Syrian Army unit for combat operations.
