DAMASCUS, (SANA) – The Syrian TV broadcast on Wednesday evening the confessions of terrorist Huzaifa Safa Hamadi, who confessed to forming armed terrorist groups with others with Saudi funding used to purchase weapons and Thuraya satellite phones, admitting that they attacked civilians and the army, assaulted public facilities, kidnapped three civilians and filmed false confessions by them before murdering them.
Hamadi, born in 1984, said that he was contacted by a man called Omar Hamadi who told him that "they want to form groups and needed money," saying that a man from Saudi Arabia named Mujahed al-Turkawi will send funds for this purpose.
He added that Hamadi went to Bab al-Sibaa area to recruit members for these groups, meeting a number of men and telling them to that he will provide them with weapons and that they must each form a group.
