Al-Manar website visited the “Military Wing” of Al-Miqdad family in the southern
suburb of Beirut, where Israa al-Fass met officials of the family and a number
of the kidnapped Syrians who belong to the so-called “free Syrian army.”
Al-Manar website correspondent to Al-Miqdad family headquarters was permitted
to enter the place to which no other media outlet was given access.
“We walked inside the corridors of the neighborhood into a zone completely
isolated from the surroundings. At the entrance, gunmen are gathered. Entrance
is forbidden for all, even for the Family’s members. Mobile phones and cameras
are also not allowed. We are the only exception,” al-Fass wrote in her report.
Al-Manar website team moved to the “hosting room” where more than thirty
kidnapped Syrians are kept. The military commander – a young man in the thirties
- told the team that the kidnapped Turkish and the fatty goals are kept in a
safer place...
