PROVINCES, (SANA) – A unit of our armed forces, in cooperation with the nationals, on Friday confronted an armed terrorist group while trying to attack Sheikh Maqsoud district in Aleppo and inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists.
An armed terrorist group fired mortar shells at al-Neirab Camp in Aleppo causing the martyrdom of Lotfy Hussein al-Shibli, Alaa Abdul Haqq and two children and the injury of ten others, all civilians.
The authorities also clashed with an armed terrorist group which attempted to attack institution of seed propagation in Bustan al-Basha in Aleppo. The clash resulted in the killing and the injury of the terrorists.
On Thursday night, the authorities targeted three vehicles equipped with DShK machineguns in Souq al-Hashish in the city of Homs.
SANA reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that the authorities destroyed one vehicle and caused damage to the rest, in addition to killing and injuring the terrorists inside.
A unit of the armed forces confronted terrorists who attempted to attack law-enforcement forces in Talbeiseh city in Homs, killing many of them and injuring others.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that an army unit targeted gatherings for terrorists in Teir maaleh and al-Ghanto villages, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
The source added that the authorities clashed with an armed terrorist group that terrified citizens and attacked the law-enforcement forces in al-Rastan city.
The clash resulted in killing all terrorists. Terrorists Mustafa Ayoub, Mohammad Hamzeh, Mohanad Saad Eddin, Alaa Farzat and Ahmad al-Haj Ali were identified among the dead.
In al-Sultaniyeh in Homs city, the source said that the authorities clashed with terrorists near al-Birini, killing and injuring many of them.
Terrorists Mohammad al-Sabbagh, Mahmoud al-Sheikh, Mohammad al-Jouri, Mohammad Walid al-Sayyed, Salem Radwan and Salim Raslan were identified among the dead.
