During a meeting with a delegation from the Syrian city of Tartous, Patriarch al-Rahi pointed out that President Bashar al-Assad has initiated reforms since March 2012, stressing that reforms must come from within since reforms that come from aboard do more damage than help, noting that foreign interference led to the destruction of Iraq.
He voiced hope for the achievement of the reforms that the Syrian people want, and that the same would happen in Lebanon and the rest of the Arab world...
