Turkish Opposition Demands Forming Committee to Investigate Turkish Economic Procedures Against Syria- Syrian Radio-TV

A group of the Turkish people's Party on Monday demanded the Turkish parliament to form a special committee to investigate the latest developments in the Syrian-Turkish economic relations.

Spokesman of the group, MP Mehmet Seker, called the members of the parliament to form a committee to deal with this 'critical crisis', stressing that the current Turkish government is responsible for the deteriorated Syrian-Turkish relations.

Seker added that the Turkish economy is suffering huge losses, pointing out to the dangerous relapse of the trade volume between the two countries.

"The number of Syrians entering Turkey per day has declined from 60 thousands to only 3 thousands," Seker said.

For his part, Head of Kilis Chamber of Commerce Mehmet Ozciloglu, asked Erdogan's government to reconsider its stances towards Syria, adding that the situation in Kilis city is very difficult after the trade exchange with Syria halted.

Earlier, Head of the Republican People's Party, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, accused Erdogan's government of being a tool in the hands of Washington against the region in general and Syria in particular.
