China Calls on Syrian Government and Opposition to Commit to Annan's Plan- SANA

BEIJING, (SANA) – Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Liu Weimin said that China supports the plan of UN envoy to Syria Kofi Annan and urges the Syrian government and opposition and all sides to make an immediate response to the plan and the calls of the international community.

In a press conference, Liu said that China calls both sides to commit to the ceasefire and withdrawal of the army to ease the tension and create proper conditions for a political solution to the crisis in Syria...
