"And I have found both freedom and safety in my madness, the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us. But let me not be too proud of my safety. Even a Thief in a jail is safe from another thief. "

Lebanese Navy Seizes Ship Suspected of Delivering Arms to Syria- Naharnet

The Lebanese navy intercepted on Friday a ship suspected of smuggling arms to Syria, announced various media reports.

NBN television reported that the ship, “Lotfallah 2”, was halted in Lebanon’s regional waters in the North as it was “seeking to deliver weapons to the armed gangs in Syria.”

OTV later said that the navy escorted the ship to Salaata port in Batroun on suspicion that it was smuggling arms.

It was made to unload its cargo and three of its containers were consequently confiscated, it added.
The contents of the containers were not revealed, it reported.

The ship may be taken to the Jounieh or Beirut ports, OTV continued.

Al-Manar television added that the ship had sailed from Alexandria in Egypt and it was headed to Tripoli in northern Lebanon.

It said that it was shipping three containers loaded with weapons.
