DAMASCUS- Syria`s Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said on
Saturday in a statement issued by its official Spokesperson that "Syria didn't
threaten at any time the Turkish borders because we consider them as borders of
friendship and good-neighborly,”
The Ministry expressed Syria's concern that Erdogan threatens to bring the NATO to protect his borders with Syria.
The Ministry stressed that Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, are still announcing provocative statements that aim at complicating the situation in Syria, systematically straining the bilateral relations and, at the same time, contradict with the plan of the UN envoy to Syria Kofi Annan.
